This section outlines a typical workflow in Networks Editor, demonstrating how individual features are used together to create, edit, and share data.

Example of a Networks Editor Workflow

2.Edit Layers and Import survey points or construct auxiliary points.

3.Create and edit features:

oCreate a Route/Trench

Edit Features

oEdit Geometry

4.Check topology to eliminate any existing errors (dirty areas).

5.Update subnetworks so that the subnetwork geometry and statistical attributes are up-to-date again after changes to the assets and topology.

6.Write back a clean version with the changes made to the original database (default version).

7.Share Information with customers, colleagues, and partners.
