After the feature selection has been made, the attributes of each individual feature can be changed.
This function is inactive for grouped features in the list. By clicking on this group, the individual features are displayed and the function is available for each feature.
Parallel editing of geometry and attributes is not possible.
To avoid unwanted changes to the database, it is strongly recommended that feature changes are made in a version. Only after a reconcile should this version be returned to the original dataset.
Edit Attributes
1.Start editing the attributes
The Edit attributes function can be activated via various access options:
a.Toolbar > Edit > Edit Attributes.
b.Click on the feature in the results list
c.Actions menu Edit attributes of a selected feature
2.Show Attributes
After selecting an editable feature, the attribute form opens. In the map, the feature is zoomed in and it is highlighted.
The temporary measuring points are non-editable features. Therefore, the attribute form can only be displayed, but the values cannot be edited.
3.Edit Attributes
In the open attribute form, free entries can be made in the editable fields or attributes can be selected from a drop-down list preconfigured by the administrator.
Fields that cannot be edited are grayed out.
Depending on the configuration of the input fields on the ArcGIS Portal by the administrator, a validation can be carried out to ensure that the values are correct, with corresponding feedback if the user enters incorrect values.
4.Finish editing
The attribute input is saved with Submit. Clicking Cancel discards all changes.
Information for the administrator on editing attribute forms can be found in this developer documentation .
When displaying and editing attributes, performance may be reduced when using the Firefox browser.
