A land transaction is a type of contract that outlines the sale or acquisition of one or more land parcels within a given district.
This topic outlines how to create a land transaction. After the land transaction is established, the terms of the transaction for each land parcel involved must be entered in the contract in the contract data. You can then finalize the transaction.
To Create a Land Transaction
1.Navigate to the VertiGIS FM Parcel start page.
2.Under Operational Procedures, click Land Transaction.
3.Select the district in which the land transaction(s) you want to sell are located and click the Continue () icon.
4.At minimum, enter a Number and Name for the land transaction, and select its current state from the State menu. Refer to Land Transaction Details for all form field descriptions.
5.In the Land Parcels section, select the land parcels involved in the land transaction. All land parcels located in the district selected in the District field above are listed.
6.Click Save.
A details page for the land transaction that stores relevant information and associated data objects now exists in the VertiGIS FM database. You can now edit the contract data as terms of the land transaction are negotiated.

The cost center associated with the land transaction. |
Account |
The ledger account associated with the land transaction. |
State |
The current state of the land transaction (Planned, In progress, Not realised, In progress). |
State |
The reason the land transaction is in the state selected in the State menu above. Selectable options are stored in the State catalog. |
Date of recording |
The date the land transaction was opened. |
Person responsible |
The employee responsible for the land transaction. Selectable options are stored in the Contact Management module. By default, the employee associated with the user signed in to the application is selected. |
Contract from the point of view of |
The party acquiring or selling the Land Parcels section on the land transaction details page. You can select any type of contact stored in the Contact Management module. |
