VertiGIS FM Greenspaces comprises a suite of products to manage, preserve, and maintain spaces like parks, playgrounds, and public squares, as well as other assets contained within them.
A license for VertiGIS FM Greenspaces includes the following modules:
•Green Area module: create or import green areas to provide your organization with a high-level view of parks, squares, walkways, forests, and gardens that your organization is responsible for maintaining. You can store the green area's core properties, establish intervals that generate inspections assigned to your employees, document and escalate issues in green areas, and define partial areas within green areas to manage them at a more granular level.
•Playground Management module: manage and maintain playground equipment, benches, fences, and other physical assets found in your green areas. Hierarchical asset management in the playground management module makes it easy to add, update, and relocate assets, which you can monitor with inspection intervals and maintain by generating work orders. You can also create functional units that allow your employees to record inspections of green areas and the assets they contain on one single page.
•Tree Management module: manage and maintain trees and tree clusters planted in your organization's green areas. Use inspections, orders, investigations, and species data to document trees' health and ensure they do not pose risks to users of their green areas.
VertiGIS FM Greenspaces requires you to structure assets in a way that conforms to certain rules but also allows you to customize the hierarchy based on the size and complexity of your organization's greenspace assets.
All greenspaces, called green areas in VertiGIS FM Greenspaces, must be situated within a maintenance district, which itself must be situated within a maintenance area. You can add other assets, like functional units, partial areas, inventory items, and trees directly to a green area.
Because functional units allow for streamlined inspections of all assets within them, you may alternatively opt to define partial areas within functional units and to add inventory and trees to partial areas, or specify the assets as being located directly within the functional unit. The structures shown in the diagram below are permissible.
