If the Input selected in the metering point's details is Meter Readings, VertiGIS FM calculates the energy consumed based on the meter readings recorded at the beginning and end of the month for the meter assigned to the metering point, and programmatically creates entries in the Consumption section with these calculations.

You must assign a meter to the metering point, and you must record meter reading values on the first day of every month to generate monthly consumption statistics.

If meter reading for the first day of a month is missed, you can use the intercalate or calculate trend features to generate estimated values. Refer to Intercalate Meter Readings for more information.
