As the VertiGIS Integrator works on map services data, we must create them in ArcGIS Server Manager.

Upon successfully log into the ArcGIS Server Manager, the configuring process can be started as follows:

1. Register a database

2. Create a map service

3. Add a Database connection (if not previously done)

4. Integrate a feature class into the project

5. Create and publish a map service

6. Configure the map service

If the connection has not been previously registered, we have to register the ArcSDE Database connection in ArcGIS Server.
