The web-based user interface consists of different windows that can be freely configured in terms of their arrangement.
In the delivery state, the windows are arranged as shown in the picture below. Thus, it is only used to display and explain the individual window components and their designations.
An action menu belonging to a function is described according to the delivery status. If required, it can be configured individually via the App.JSON.
When the application is launched, the left side panel contains tabs that provide access to the following components:

The Home tab can be used to quickly access central components of the Network Explorer for example: • Trace Alternatively, these functions can be executed via the toolbar > Analyze tab. In addition, other frequently used functions have been placed here: Alternatively, this function can be executed via the Quick Access. This area can be customized. |
The Select, Analyze, Draw and Share tabs are used to access the central components of Network Explorer . Each of those tabs have their own toolbars. Additional functions can be configured from VertiGIS Studio taking into account the licensing conditions.

Spatial information is visualized in the map window. Here you can navigate and use all available functions from the toolbar, so all layers in the project can be displayed, compared, analyzed, selected, evaluated, markups and notes that can be added. In addition to zooming via the plus/minus key or optionally with the mouse wheel, the following efficient navigation functions are available: •Coordinate position: Navigation to a position desired by coordinate input, which is the center of the section. • Bookmarks: Bookmarks to different sections can be created, applied or deleted. • Home Extent: Navigation to a predefined section. A right mouse click in the map opens a context menu for quick access to the information of the selected position (green marker) and functions that can be performed on it: •Display mouse pointer coordinates •Show address of the marker position •Identify - Show attribute data of all features at the marker position •Select - Select feature(s) at the marker position |
The status bar can be configured as requested. In the solution, the following is displayed by default: •Scale selection from a scale series generated from the map as well as the possibilities of free scale input • User settings for the selection of ▪Compact view ▪Design of the application (light, dark) ▪Measurement system (automatic, metric, U.S. Customary System) ▪Search History - Clear History ▪Language of the solution (English, German) • User information as well as the possibility to sign out. For a fast, efficient workflow, a link refers to keyboard shortcuts. |
Frequently used functions are additionally offered in the upper right area for quick access. These are: •Search for... •Previous map view •Next map view • Identify • Reset All • Printing The rotation of the print area can be done either by entering an angle or by using the right mouse button. The form for entering print parameters depends on the print template available in the project. •Basemaps |
