A subnetwork represents a topological part within a layer in which all network features are defined by the same subnetwork controller.
Subnetworks can be displayed and localized in the Network Explorer in order to obtain an overview of the network structure.
Further information on subnetworks can be found in the ArcGIS Pro documentation on the Esri website.
Subnetworks
1.Call function
The function can be opened via the toolbar > Analyze > Subnetworks or via the Home tab. In the left side panel, the Subnetworks tab opens.
All subnetworks in the entire database are displayed in the results area.
2.Select and visualize subnetworks
The view of the subnetworks can be restricted using the following functions:
•Search
•Domains and Tiers
If a filter has been applied to domains and tiers and the view is closed, filtering can be recognized by a green filter symbol behind "Domains and Tiers".
The filter settings affect both the subnetworks list and the visibility of the features on the map.
•Subnetworks in current extent
The visibility setting on the "Layer" tab affects the visibility of the results displayed here! Above all, the linear objects in the "Layer" tab should be set to "not visible" for optimum visualization of the subnetworks.
