A subnetwork is a connected subset of a utility network whose features are connected to the same subnetwork controller(s).

Subnetworks can be displayed and localized in the Networks Explorer  in order to obtain an overview of the network structure.

To view subnetworks:

1.Go to Network > Subnetworks.
the Subnetworks panel opens with a list of all available subnetworks in the database.

2.Filter the subnetworks results by one or more of the following methods:

i.Type a subnetwork name in the Filter field.

ii.uncheck layers from Domains and Tiers to limit the search results.

iii.Toggle Dirty Subnetworks to show only dirty subnetworks in the results.

iv.Toggle Subnetworks in Current Extent to only show the subnetworks available in the map extent.

3.Select a subnetwork from the result list.
The selected subnetwork is zoomed and highlighted on the map.

The visibility setting on the "Layer" tab affects the visibility of the results displayed here! Above all, the linear objects in the "Layer" tab should be set to "not visible" for optimum visualization of the subnetworks.
