Each VertiGIS FM product, as well as many modules, have their own start pages (also called a dashboard). You can customize your start page based on the unique needs of your users and your organization, or use the default templates shown on each product's start page. Typically, a start page dashboard includes KPI metrics, charts, object lists, maps, and templates like workflow shortcuts and links.

You can access the start page for a product or module by expanding the product or module in the modules panel and clicking the start page link.

Legacy Start Pages
Each VertiGIS FM product has legacy start page with default templates required for workflows within the product or module. These appear on the start page before you customize your own dashboard.
Legacy sections typically include Actions and Operational Procedures sections, as well as lists of task-based data objects that are assigned to the user signed in to the application.

If you add a custom dashboard object to the start page, the default sections are no longer shown. You can restore the start page to its default sections at any time by deleting the custom dashboard.
Dashboard Customization
As a system administrator, you can create a customized dashboard for the start page for each VertiGIS FM product and module included in your license. This allows you to create your own dashboard that conveys important information your users, using your own live VertiGIS FM data from any data object and property you specify.
Dashboard objects you can add to your start page include KPI metrics, charts, lists, and maps. You can also add any of the template sections shown on the default start page to your customized dashboard.
When you create a custom dashboard, you can add any of the items below to your start page.
