Administrators can create most types of checklists globally on the checklist administration page. Checklists for assets managed in VertiGIS FM Maintenance can be created locally, on the device or component's version details page.

In VertiGIS FM Parcel, you can create global land transaction checklists and apply them to land transactions, or create global asset checklists and apply them to land parcels. Users can complete an both types of checklists once for each land transaction or land parcel you apply them to.

Create a Land Transaction Checklist

You can create global land transaction checklists and apply them to various land transactions in VertiGIS FM Parcel.

To Create a Land Transaction Checklist

1.Navigate to the checklist administration page (Administration > Master Data > Checklists).

2.Double-click Land Parcel Management.

3.In the Land Transaction Checklists section, click the Add () icon.

4.At minimum, enter a Name for the new checklist. Optionally, enter a Number and select its Category. Refer to Checklist Details for descriptions of all form fields.

5.Click Save and Close.

After you save the land transaction checklist, add items to it.

You can now apply the checklist to land transactions.

Create an Asset Checklist for a Land Parcel

Asset checklists can be assigned directly to land parcels. A user can complete this kind of checklist once for each land parcel you assign it to.

To Create an Asset Checklist

1.Navigate to the checklist administration page (Administration > Master Data > Checklists).

2.Double-click Land Parcel Management.

3.In the Checklists section, click the Add () icon.

4.At minimum, enter a Name for the new checklist. Optionally, enter a Number and select its Category. Refer to Checklist Details for descriptions of all form fields.

5.Click Save and Close.

After you save the land transaction checklist, add items to it.

You can now apply the checklist to land parcels.
