You can use the VertiGIS FM Maintenance app to scan QR codes that have been entered into the VertiGIS FM database and affixed to any physical assets in the field. When the QR code is scanned, the app displays a list of assets associated with the barcode.

To use the barcode scanner, tap the QR code icon on the Maintenance tab or Service Desk tab.

Point the device so that the scanner is focussed on the QR code. You do not need to push any button. The scanner parses the QR code as soon as it detects it in the camera frame.
