The following are the new features for the versions released so far:
•Basic software
▪The new VertiGIS Studio Web Version 5.29 with its new features serves as the basis.
•User Guidance
In the quick access functions area, you can now switch to the previous or next map view with the corresponding zoom level.
•Documentation in the new layout
New VertiGIS layout for Networks documentation with improved scaling options for low space requirements. This means that the documentation is also ideal for use on small monitors.
•Edit Geometry and Attributes of a feature
▪The geometry of a feature can now be edited.
▪The attributes of a feature can also be displayed and edited in a new attribute form.
▪These attributes can be changed using configurable attribute forms . Developer documentation is available for the administrator to customize these attribute forms.
In parallel, bug fixing was done on all existing functionalities.
•App Design
The Network Simulator interface has been redesigned to match the design of the Network Solutions Editor and Explorer. The project information is now also available in the left-hand side area with the Network Simulator tab.
•Query Builder
Through this VertiGIS Studio query tool, queries can be executed on a layer according to specific characteristics using search and filter functions. Further information is available in the VertiGIS Studio Web documentation in the chapter What's new about the Query Tool.
•Language Setting
In the user settings, the display language of the application with the respective variants can be selected between English and German.
•Access Permission
Enterprise login via SAML is now supported (access to multiple web applications with a single set of credentials).
In parallel, bug fixing was done on all existing functionalities.
•Subtype group layers (composite feature layers)
Performance improvement, since actions (such as panning, zooming, otherwise redisplaying) can be performed on groups of layers rather than on individual layers.
More information about subtype group layers can be found in the Esri ArcGIS Pro Help.
•The central element is the planning manager, which can be used to create and edit projects.
•The editing of the created projects includes the following options:
▪Find projects
▪Sort projects
▪Highlight projects on the map
▪Open projects for viewing or editing
▪Update projects
•These can be selected from a list of predefined assets (lines/conduits, connections etc.) and added to the projects.
•It is possible to divide a planning project into different construction phases so that, among other things, costs can be controlled for each construction phase. The output can be done by a separate bill of material and also as a separate map printout in PDF format.
VertiGIS Studio Web also integrates functions for the map basis, measurement as well as print output or forwarding via link.
