After the feature selection has been made, the geometry of each individual feature can be changed.

This function is inactive for grouped features in the list. By clicking on this group, the individual features are displayed and the function is available for each feature.

Parallel editing of geometry and attributes is not possible.

Procedure

Edit Geometry

1.Start editing the geometry
The editing of the feature geometry can be started via the action menu of the selected feature with the function Edit Geometry.

2.Show Geometry
After starting the function, the geometry of the selected feature is displayed in sketch mode with its individual vertices on the map. It is now only possible to edit this feature.

3.Edit Geometry
The vertices of the feature geometry can now be touched with the mouse pointer and moved while holding down the left mouse button.

The basis for editing the geometry is VertiGIS Studio Web's Sketch tool. Keyboard shortcuts for easier operation can be found in the VertiGIS Studio Web documentation in the chapter Geometry-editing Keyboard Shortcuts.

4.Save Changes
Changes made to the geometry can be saved using the ENTER button.

5.Discard changes
The ESC button can be used to discard the changes made.
