The Apache Tomcat basic installation is sufficient if you plan to run only one VertiGIS Integrator instance. However, if you intend to utilize multiple instances, please check the Installation of multiple VertiGIS Integrator Instances section.

To run VertiGIS Integrator, you need version 9 of Apache Tomcat. If you do install a different version, you may encounter errors.

Install Apache Tomcat:

1.Download the version 9 of Apache Tomcat. Refer to Software Requirements for supported versions.

2.On your local machine, unzip the Tomcat.ZIP file in the VertiGIS Integrator folder.

After unpacking, the directory should resemble the following structure.

The web applications delivered with Tomcat in the webapps folder are not needed and can be deleted.
