The E-Mail report Cron Job is a VertiGIS Integrator functionality that informs the users about the errors and the processing done by the VertiGIS Integrator via an email. As the VertiGIS Integrator is running in the background and writes all the data in the protocol table, it can collect the data from the protocol table and send it as an email.
This functionality comes in handy when you don't have time to check the VertiGIS Integrator user interface constantly, but still want to be notified in case there are some errors.
