Solution Manager is a web-based application that allows an administrator to configure projects based on VertiGIS Web Solutions (e.g. Network Editor / Explorer / Simulator) for their deployment. Solution Manager provides a mechanism to create VertiGIS packages and deploy them in customer environments.

A major advantage of the Solution Manager is availability via the web and is provided as SaaS (Software as a Service). Therefore, no installation and no update maintenance is necessary.

Solution Manager can be used both via a user interface and in the case of automated scenarios.

User Interface

The project is compiled anddeployed by GIS administrators via a guided interface. The desired VertiGIS Web Solution with its professional functions, the required data source and the underlying web map are selected.

The Solution Manager is available in English.

Solution Manager build tools

The Solution Manager-Functionality is also provided as an NPM package and Azure DevOps Build Tasks, which enable automated package creation and deployment. There are two build tasks that can be used in Azure DevOps Pipelines:

•solution-manager-packer: enables the creation of packages using a package definition file that contains metadata about the package to be created and describes what is to be included in the package.

•solution-manager-deployer: enables the deployment of packages in an ArcGIS target portal.
