A new deployment can be performed comfortably menu-driven:

Procedure

1.Perform new deployment
Open the Deployment section and start creating a deployment . The content is selected in the following order:

2.Select packages

•Select Solution Package
A solution package intended for the new deployment (e.g. Editor, Explorer, Simulator) is loaded from its location (e.g. ZIP file from download folder)

•Select data source (optionally with domain package)
Select the required data source and - if available and desired - load an associated domain package.

•Select web map for the app
Select web map that will serve as the basis for the application.

3.Enter parameter values
Here, depending on the selected VertiGIS Web Solution, the necessary parameters are assigned.

•Package Name
individual name of the deployment

•VertiGIS Studio Web URL
URL of VertiGIS Studio Web installation defined during installation.
Example: https://<hostname.domain.com>/web
 

The parameters marked with * are mandatory parameters.

For any additional parameters required for individual VertiGIS Web Solutions, please consult the respective manual. See also chapter Reference Documents.

4.Perform validation
Here, a check with subsequent output of results is performed to determine whether the necessary requirements for the use of the selected VertiGIS Web Solution are met. It is then possible to correct the selected data source/web map in this regard or select a suitable data source/web map that meets the schema requirements to perform a successful validation step.
Examples:

▪Network Editor requires a Dirty Areas layer for the Check Topologyfunction

▪Network Simulator requires the Layer Planning Request and Planning Phase for the planning project

 

After successful validation of the entered parameters, the last step of the deployment can be executed.

5.Complete deployment
The final step is the deployment. If it is successful, a link to the created VertiGIS Solution Web App will be displayed. This link can be clicked and the web app will open immediately. If the Finish button is pressed, the Web App just created is available in the Deployment area and can be opened via it at any time.

After installation, an adjustment to the project-specific map basis MUST be made. To do this, first select the generated WebApp in the Studio Web Designer. Then select the "Map component", go to the "Map settings" section and click on the "Refresh" button. This ensures that the project-specific map basis is correctly integrated into the WebApp.
