Licensing

Prev Top Next More

VertiGIS Solutions Licensing is based on a bundle of three individual license types:

1.An Esri Named User principle (person-specific) license.

2.An OEM version of VertiGIS Studio.

3.A Named User license of VertiGIS Networks.

Esri Licensing

VertiGIS Networks is designed to consume and display content from a variety of Esri software; the Esri licenses required to author and publish content are available from your Esri distributor.

Networks uses the modern ArcGIS pattern and ArcGIS Identities to author and access applications.

You must have at least one Creator user type with Advanced Editing rights to create content in Networks, and one Publishing user type to publish content such as the solution package, feature services, and web maps.

An Esri portal (ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS Enterprise) and the ArcGIS Identities themselves are also available from your Esri distributor.

Studio Web Licensing

A prerequisite to license VertiGIS Networks is the VertiGIS Studio License. Normally, you get the Studio License Bundle automatically when contracting for a Networks License.

To learn more about Studio Web Licensing mechanism see: VertiGIS Studio licensing documentation.

Initially to activate your Studio license, visit the VertiGIS Studio license activation documentation.

Networks Licensing

After contracting a subscription with VertiGIS Networks, we register you as a Networks Customer. Once an order is processed, the customer is automatically assigned the necessary Studio and Networks Licenses. At the same time, the customer’s organization is registered in our system. From that point on, the license is continuously validated against our system to ensure compliance.

If the license expires, or no valid license is detected, a message appears: "Your Networks license is invalid. Please contact your administrator to renew your license".

This information refers to VertiGIS licensing.
For questions regarding licensing of the required Esri products, or the Networks products, please contact your sales representative.
