Via the tool group Construct > Settings the window for the construction tools opens.

When creating the construction elements, the necessary entries can be made either via the input windows (overlays) that appear in the map or via the menu on the left-hand side of the page. If the display of the windows in the map is not desired, the Show map overlays button can be disabled.

The measurement system for the construction points must be selected in advance in the user preferences in the status bar.
