Pressure-reducing valves / control valve
Pressure-reducing valves are used to ensure that a defined operating pressure is not exceeded. There are two basic forms, which are based on the mechanical construction (spring closing or self-media operated). If the pressure differences or volumes are too large, only self-media operated valves can be used.
The Pressure-reducing manhole always contains a pressure-reducing valve and is a structural object.

Water pump
The water pump is used to pump water and to ensure sufficient pressure and flow. Pumps are always used in installations or manholes in combination with other components and a power supply.
A Screw pump or Archimedean screw pump is treated like a normal pump and is rarely found in water supplies (usually used in wastewater).

Structure in which the line pressure is reduced to atmospheric pressure. This is usually a manhole structure with open water level.
