The tier definitions are transposed to the service territory. In addition, a distinction is made as to whether the network is a transport network or a distribution network. A transport network is usually a long and superordinate pipeline that carries the water from one point (origin) to a transfer structure. It should be noted here that these can also be so-called gravity flow lines.
The functional differentiation of the water lines will be implemented at a later date. For this purpose, further information can be found in Functions of Water Lines.

Tier definition Water
Since currently only one tier per TierGroup is defined in the Water Solution, a simplified table representation is used for the allocation to the subnetworks.
