Web Response Form

Networks Locator supports forwarding locates to third-party contractors and firms via the “Locator” drop-down. Networks Locator passes locates via email or to USIC’s TicketPro system via API.

When passing locates to third parties via email, Networks Locator packages the full email from the 811 agencies along with a link to a web form allowing a locator to submit PR. The link in the forwarded email is active for seven days from the forwarding date, while the response form only lives for 72 hours as a security measure.

When a locator clicks the response form link from an Internet-connected device, the default browser opens to the following form.

The Response form includes the same options for PR as Networks Locator’s main GUI: response code, comment, and attachments. You can submit any combination of the three PR elements.

When you click “Submit”, the form sends the response, comment, and/or attachments back to Networks Locator for other users to view. If you included a response and the 811 agency connected to the locate supports PR, Networks Locator automatically sends the PR to the agency.

Networks Locator’s Web Response form for third-party locators also supports PR Feedback where required.
