You can use this function to view added documents of non-Esri formats to features.
To view documents:
1.Go to Network > Documents.
The external documents panel is opened.
2.Click the action menu next to the document you want to view, the following table shows the available options:

Open a preview for the document. The preview is available only if the image service can be accessed without additional authentication. If authentication is required, the document cannot be previewed in the panel and can only be opened in a new browser tab. |

Open the document in a new tab in your browser. |

Download the document locally to your machine. |

Open the document attributes in read-only mode. |
