These are all lines which are used for maintenance. These are usually built in plants or arise in connection with them (discharge line).

Vent pipe
Lines connecting the pipeline to the bleeder (valve or tap). These lines are found almost exclusively in plant construction and only very rarely in pipeline construction.

Drain pipe
Lines for draining storage tanks (reservoirs) and catchment systems (well house). The line usually ends in a receiving waters or is infiltrated.
