Inlet point wastewater canal network (connection object). 

The inlet point is a starting point of a wastewater canal network. In principle, these are wells, individual areas (e.g., parking lots, roof surfaces), buildings, and reservoirs. (Source: VSA, internal SEW documents). Special inlet points to be identified, such as dental practices, can also be recorded as an inlet point.

Catchment area center. 

The CatchmentPoint collects the calculated information from a catchment area at a point. A catchment area is a contiguous area from which wastewater flows to a single, common center. The geographical location of the CatchmentPoint does not need to be exact. It has a relationship to the inlet or outlet of a structure in which it drains.

Secondary feed (street drainage, street drain, inlet/outlet drainage channel, rainwater pipe)

Used for components that are only connected to secondary lines and whose inlet/outlet is not documented in more detail. If inlet and outlet heights are different and need to be managed, a manhole node with corresponding inlet point and outlet point is recorded.
