Protective strips, protection zones
Protective strips or protection zones are defined in connection with important infrastructure facilities. Protection against impacts that impair or endanger the existence or operation and maintenance. As a rule, high-pressure gas pipelines and overhead lines (high and medium voltage) are affected.
In some areas there are even bans on digging or building.
For gas, the width is defined by the diameter and the pressure conditions of the pipeline.
In the context of drinking water, it is conceivable that the various groundwater protection zones will also be managed in this area.
