Subnetwork Definition

Prev Top Next More

Modify / Delete: No, because this greatly changes the functioning of the network logic. A change is not supported by Support and VertiGIS Networks’ update capability is lost.

Justification:

There is a risk of jeopardizing the correct functioning of trace configurations and subnetworks.

This involves a larger amount of data processing.

The network must be disabled. After that, all subnetworks must be rebuilt (time-consuming).

Create:  New subnetwork definitions can be created. Please also note that a new tier definition must be created accordingly and asset types must be assigned to the tier. A review is recommended to check whether a trace configuration would better meet the desired intended use than the definition of a new subnetwork. A trace configuration can be implemented quickly and may therefore be a good alternative. "Categories" can also be used to simplify a trace configuration.

The name of the new subnetwork definitions should start with the "CUS_" prefix.
