The Attribute Defaults pane can be used to control the attribute preset for the current editing template. The pane is always aligned with the currently active editing template. If the pane has not yet been activated, it can be displayed using the Edit Attributes button in the toolbar of the active editing template.

The Attribute Defaults Pane offers the following options for managing presets:

•Field Presets allows you to setup the preset values for the Asset manually.

•Asset Tasks allows you to select a record from a task table and use its attributes as a preset for the attributes at the current template.
