Water extraction well / production well

A water extraction well is used to pump groundwater from deeper soil layers to the surface. To do this, a pipe with a filter is inserted into the aquifer and connected to a pump. The extracted water can be used for drinking water, irrigation or industrial purposes.

The RawWaterIntake can also be used for spring water intakes or seawater intakes.
