Is a structural surface which additionally protects the lines from mechanical influences (traffic loads). This is used in the area of intersections and roads when the cover to the subgrade is too small. Usually, the pipe statics are important.
To prevent impermissible longitudinal elongation, expansion pads with sufficient elasticity must be installed on the expansion legs. The length and thickness of the expansion pads are taken from the static calculation. Reductions must also be wrapped with expansion pads in expansion zones.
