Pressure reducing valve / gas pressure regulator
Regulates the pressure of the gas to the desired level (target pressure in the network) for the network feed. The regulators are categorized by inlet pressure and outlet pressure by the manufacturers.

Compressor
Compressor is used to restore a pressure and is usually only used in high pressure networks.
Gas fuel stations for vehicles also have a compressor.
The two common designs are the turbo compressor (radial) and the piston compressor.
