Elements that are important for the operation of the network but are not assigned to the primary technology are stored in the OperationalDevice as secondary technology.

Neutral electromagnetic couplers or neutral grounding transformers are used in networks in which the transfer points of the transformers are not grounded, e.g. because of the delta connections of the windings, but one wants to operate a grounded network. They are necessary for operational management and partly for calculations, but have no active influence on the network.
The basic principle is like a transformer, but it does not transform voltage/power. It is only used to create a technical grounding/neutral point.

Ripple control device
A ripple control device (RCD) allows individual network strings to be switched on or off with a delay and serves as a signal generator without itself switching actively.
This is always found in stations or cabins and can also be controlled in various ways (power line communication, timers, radio waves or environmental sensors).
Examples: Lighting, control of high and low tariff, etc.
