WireConnectionJunction

Prev Top Next More

This asset group manages the connecting elements between the measuring wires of the leak detection system. Unlike ‘ConnectionJunctionCable’, only wires are used for the purpose of measuring the quality of the pipe insulation.

Example

Description

UN_DHCJunction_WireConnectionJunction_StraightJoint

Crimp connection, connection point for measuring wires (Brandes, Nordic)

Connection of two wires, generally with a crimp connection:

- Sensor wire-sensor wire

- Sensor wire-return wire

- Return wire-return wire

It is used to connect the wires of two connected pipes, or to connect the wires in a pipe branch.

The position of the branch connection to the continuous line (top right, bottom right, top left, bottom left) and the measuring system used (Brandes or Nordic) define how the measuring wires are connected in pairs. It is always the sensor wire that is looped out and connected to the branches. The return wire/measuring wire is always routed from the beginning to the end of the measuring loop without being looped out.

Description

UN_DHCJunction_WireConnectionJunction_WireLoopClamp

UN_DHCJunction_WireConnectionJunction_WireLoopClamp1

Wire connection box

Connection of sensor wire with return wire at the ends of the string. In house connections and in shafts, the measuring loop is closed by connecting the wires via a cable bridge.

Example

Description

UN_DHCJunction_WireConnectionJunction_UncouplingJunction

Loop exit in structures

At the pipe ends (at the end cap) or at the socket connections, the wires can be led out of the pipe to be connected to the measuring cell in a protected manner.

This element is used to map the output of the wires, including the hose line and its connection to the box. This asset type therefore includes both the pipe sensor connection and the hose line in one. The length of the wires led out is recorded as an attribute on this object. This allows the length of these wires to be added to that of the wires in the pipe insulation in order to evaluate and display the position of the measured leak using network tracing.

toc_closedbookSleeveMoistureIndicator [825]

Example

Description

UN_DHCJunction_WireConnectionJunction_MoistureIndicator

Moisture indicator

Installed in the pipe sleeve as a connecting piece between the measuring wires, it enables selective measurement of moisture only within the sleeve.

Only used in conjunction with the hierarchical or indicator measuring system.

It can only measure moisture in the insulation of the sleeve.

toc_closedbookTBranchIndicator [826]

Example

Description

T-Weiche

T-Weiche

T-splitter (only for hierarchical systems)

Only used in conjunction with the hierarchical leak detection system (measurement of indicators). The T-splitter ‘branches the measurement system and forms subordinate hierarchies. They enable central moisture detection and block the connection to the higher-level hierarchy during measurements from the branch’
