Leakage measurement and monitoring system

This involves connecting the measuring wires to a measuring system. There are different ways of recording and monitoring the measured values: 

Manual monitoring: Passive system. The condition of the district heating network is checked manually using mobile measuring devices as required or at specified intervals. To do this, the measuring devices are connected to the measuring cell and the measurement is taken.

Stationary monitoring:

- Alarm systems: an alarm is triggered when preset limit values are reached. The alarm is usually forwarded to other systems (control room or signalling device).

- Monitoring systems: the monitoring devices are connected to a central computer via a network, and the entire network is monitored centrally.

In the data model, this asset type is defined as a subnetwork controller, as it defines the point at which a measuring system for monitoring leak detection loops is connected.
