All tables and feature classes of the Utility Network administer an asset group. A record must be created per asset group of each table or feature class.
The values of the asset group entries are handled like an Esri attribute domain in the asset package. When creating the database from the asset package, the Esri attribute domain values for the asset groups are converted into Utility Network properties and are no longer continued as an attribute domain.
Syntax VertiGIS models:
Value_<attributedomainname><_attributedomaincode>
Part of the name |
Values |
Value_ |
Fixed text |
attributedomain name |
Name of the Esri attribute domain for the asset group |
attributedomain code |
Coded value of the asset group |
Examples:
•"Value_GASDeviceAssetgroup_500" : "ServiceConnectionDevice"
•"Value_GASJunctionAssetgroup_200" : "FittingElement"
Other tables and feature classes in the database, which are not part of the Utility Network, can administer subtypes instead of asset groups. Therefore, the name thereof is similarly defined in the attribute form.
There are further tables, such as system tables for use with VertiGIS Networks for ArcGIS Pro. Definition of the attribute form for these system tables is not required.
