With the new version 1.7, the name of the product was changed from VertiGIS Utilities to VertiGIS Network Editor Desktop, in order to make the affiliation to the Networks product line on the one hand and the functional focus in the product name on the other hand recognizable.

The focus of this release is to improve the user experience by implementing several user requirements.

Among others, the following new features are included:

•Configurable options for resetting the project cache

•Filter option for the landing page to show only the web maps created by the current user

•Improved function of dimensioning

•New tool that allows point feature symbols to be rotated and/or aligned to lines

Among several bug fixes, preventing ArcGIS Pro crashes when creating a new job in an incorrectly configured environment is worth mentioning, and fixing an issue that caused infinite loops in the landing page when no PPKX was connected.

In addition, this version includes improved icon styles and standardization, as well as enhanced output format support for printing.

At the same time bugfixing was done on all existing functionalities.
