What is an Attribute Form?
An Attribute Form is the interface that GIS users rely on to view and edit feature attributes in applications, including how fields, translations, catalogs, and form behaviors appear to end users. These forms control everything from dropdown lists and date pickers to localized labels and catalog-driven values.
When a user selects a feature to edit or create a new feature, the attribute form displays the feature's fields (attributes) and provides appropriate input controls for each field type.

For example, when editing a fire hydrant feature, the attribute form might display fields for hydrant type, installation date, flow rate, and condition - with appropriate controls like dropdowns for predefined values or date pickers for temporal data.
The attribute Form Designer is the VertiGIS SaaS tool that streamlines and centralizes the configuration of these forms, making it easier to design, manage, and deploy consistent attribute form experiences across VertiGIS Networks and other supported applications.
